Letters: - Reader upset after Miami Commission meeting concerning Home Depot:

When City Manager Joe Arriola joked several months ago that a Sam's Club would be coming to Peacock Park, it was not funny then, but this makes it more of a reality. This decision gives Home Depot free reins and any other Big Box that wants to come to Coconut Grove.

As everyone has told me, they will remember who voted against Coconut Grove and whom they support now and in the future. If the City thinks people have short memories, we will have a monument at the Grove Gate Shopping Center (appropriately named) to remind us every day of this decision.
