Gentlemen:
As you can see from Mario Tello a Glendale California resident
for 30 years he just took these pictures
of Home
Depot on May 3, 2005. The
photographs demonstrate the problems
Glendale residents face despite the best
intentions of Home Depot. For instance
it was the City of Glendale that removed
the toilet left on the side of the Depot
{ I am not sure that was intended as
metaphor by the Depot}. The depot was
asked to remove it for more than a week,
it never did, the City picked it up
in 25 minutes, from the time of the
report. Is our City going to be that
vigilant in picking up after Home Depot?
Commissioner Regalado may be thinking this looks better than
Eight Street does now. The point is that
Home Depot will not self police whether
its California or Florida. The Max
Strang plans have been submitted now is
the time to represent the citizens and
not big business. The tax dollars you
believe you will net will be more than
spent picking up after this bad
corporate neighbor.

Hello
Barry,
I
have lived in Glendale California for over 30
years I have lived next to the Home
Depot since
It
was built. I understand your community
has concerns over the Home Depot Moving
in.
These
are pictures I took last night
(the
front of Home Depot) and today (the back
of Home Depot).
As
you can see from these pictures. The
Home Depot does not seem to care about
there surrounding community.
It
would be so simple to have somebody
sweep up 2 times a day pick up there
carts and if they saw garbage or
something that should not be there
to pick it up or call the city to come
pick it up, during this walk they could
also do maintenance checks but they
don't.
I
emailed and called the city today.
I
have also sent you pictures of a
dangerously leaning light post. The
pictures were taken
on 5/03/05. I called the city and as you can see it has been removed.
