Grove Merchants Group

The Grove Merchants Group resolves that it is opposed to any Big Box commercial use, such as a Home Depot, coming to Coconut Grove because such oversized uses would not be compatible with promoting Grove merchants and businesses and in our Village.

For these reasons we hereby issue a Resolution opposing "Big Box" commercial use of small business C-1 zoning Districts in the Village of Coconut Grove.

Be it Further Resolved that the Grove Merchants Group supports the passage by the Miami City Commission of an overlay district being placed on all C-1 zoning districts n Coconut Grove which would restrict such districts to commercial uses requiring 70,000 sq. ft of floor areas or less.
