Grove Isle Condominium Association 

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Grove Isle Condominium Association ("GICA") is aware of an application by Home Depot pending before the City of Miami to permit the construction and operation of a Home Depot store in Coconut Grove, in the vicinity of Bird Avenue and McDonald Street; and

WHEREAS, the Board has an obligation to promote the general welfare and well-being of its residents and to maintain the property values of the owners; and

WHEREAS, the Board believes that the granting of the application will have a substantial, adverse impact on the value of the owners' condominium units and will negatively affect their enjoyment of the community in which they reside.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it:

RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors, on behalf of the unit owners of GICA, that the Board opposes the granting of the application and urges the City Commission of the City of Miami to deny it. .
