South West 8th St. Store 

Late Thursday morning a Grove resident e-mailed The Grove First to report that  her  husband  just called to tell her that he was  stuck in traffic on SW 8th street.  "He was inching his way past Home Depot.   He looked over and saw  why. There was giant banner  promoting 'Contractor Service Days.'  

Home Depot  had erected a  huge tent in their  parking lot. There were double semi-trucks and  contractors with their equipment were all over the place.  Traffic was a nightmare."

She recommended we send someone with a camera.  "What a great photo op.  The caption should read, 'Just another day at the village hardware store.' This is the future of the Grove if our City of Miami officials sell us out to Home Depot."

Well, well we sent a photographer.  This is some of what our photographer saw!
