Resolution
The Quality of Life
Committee is an organization formed by
Homeowners, Condominiums, individuals
and institutions in the community
interested in defending and promoting
issues that will protect our quality of
life.
For these reasons
we issue this resolution opposing
"Big Box" commercial use of
small business C-1 zoning Districts in
the Village of Coconut Grove.
The Quality of Life
Committee further resolves to support
the passage by the Miami City Commission
of an overlay district being placed on
all C-1 zoning districts in Coconut
Grove, which would restrict such
districts to commercial uses requiring
70,000 square feet of floor areas or
less.
